So what is there for you after Scouts?

Explorer Scouts is the Section above Scouts and is for those aged between 14 and 17 years old, though as with all of the other Sections in Scouting there is some flexibility to allow you to move on at a time that suits you, maybe so that you finish awards in Scouts, go to camp with the Troop a final time or move on at the same time as your friends in the Troop.

Bexleyheath District has 1 Explorer Scout Unit which meets on Tuesday nights and is fed by all of the Scout Troops in the District as well as other members who have previously been involved in Guiding or haven't been part of either movement previously.

If you are a Scout in Bexleyheath then as you approach your 14th Birthday the Unit Leaders will be in touch with your Scout Leader and you to discuss when is a good time for you to move up from Scouts and they also invite the older Scouts in the District to a couple of events a year as a link into the Unit, most recently at Gilwell 24.
